A strong Switzerland needs
a strong relationship with Europe
Switzerland is located in the middle of Europe. It is closely linked to Europe in geopolitical, economic, value and cultural terms and relies on a solid network of relationships to remain a prosperous nation. Europe is at war again: Especially in challenging times like now, the Europa Forum addresses current and future decision-makers from business, science, civil society and politics who care about the future viability of an open Switzerland in a strong Europe. For them, the Forum represents the outstanding platform for reflecting with selected personalities on a
relevant annual theme
from a European perspective, to develop answers and to derive implications for themselves, for Switzerland and for Europe.
The Europa Forum is a leading dialogue and impulse platform for a strong Switzerland and a strong Europe, with both of them fit for the future.
The Europa Forum is…
- THE politically neutral dialog and impulse platform
- THE central point of orientation and an influential voice
- – THE networking centre for decision makers from business, politics, society, science and the future generation
Forward-looking, courageous and impact-oriented.
ANNUAL TOPIC 22
Let Europe arise
The new annual theme for 2022, “Let Europe arise,” focuses on the next generation taking over in challenging times on the Old Continent. In this context, the Europa Forum addresses, among other things, the question of how Europe – not only the EU – and its understanding of freedom, the rule of law, democracy and human rights will continue to develop. Millennials have a special role to play here: globally, they are in numbers the largest generation of all time, worldly, networked, realistic and pragmatic. Who are these Millennials who will soon determine the fate of the Old Continent in politics and business? And: What kind of Europe do Millennials want now?
Annual Meeting 2022
At 23 and November 24, 2022 The Annual Meeting is the highlight of our annual activities. Discuss the perspectives for Switzerland and Europe with renowned speakers at the Opening on the first day. On the second day of the symposium you will receive insightful impulses around our annual theme “Let Europe Arise”.
Of course, we will integrate the current events in an appropriate form in our program in November, discuss them together and classify them.
Annual Meeting 2021
Last year’s annual theme, “Switzerland and Europe under the spell of China”, struck a chord. Because the exchange with leaders in Switzerland and Europe showed one thing above all: The uncertainty in connection with the emerging China is great, and so is the need for exchange, classification and recipes.
